We are a Versa household of 2 (plus other family members) and the devices no longer stay connected to Bluetooth to sync with the iPhones. This used to work perfectly until a few months ago (definitely since Google took ownership) and is frustrating at best. This problem isn't tied to a single iPhone model or Versa it seems from other posts here that have been closed to posting with no resolution mentioned that I can find.
Manually connecting to Bluetooth multiple times each day, restarting the iPhone, or restarting the Watch are not acceptable solutions. If there is a compatibility issue that Google and Apple will not fix then myself and others will be forced to find another device that will be more reliable. The thought of purchasing an Apple watch isn't appealing and I have been a Fitbit owner for many years on both Android and Apple devices.
Fitbit folks - is this going to be resolved or do the users have to find an alternative solution?

I routinely switch from my Versa3 to my Sense 1 and also have pairing issues. I’ve found that if you do a restart on your device by holding the button until your watch shuts down and restarts (when the blue diamond shows up), then re-pair it with your phone , it will stay paired.
Remember to forget the watch from your phone first, and it may help to clear the cache on your phone before re-pairing your Versa,

FYI: We do not manually pair our tracker to the phones Bluetooth.
The Fitbit app does the actual pairing of the tracker.
@al0vely are you having a sync issue?
In addition try clearing the Fitbit App cache, this seems to be a step that many have reported to fix the sync issue

That is correct but when your tracker unpairs from your phone the app tells you to go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, forget the device then go back to the app and wait for a pairing request.

Exactly, the app has a better chance of finding an untrusted device.
I would still try clearing the fitbit app cache before removing from the Bluetooth..
Once you open the fitbit app, the tracker should try and sync. This sync does not require the tracker to be trusted.
In anycase, the app generally notices when setting up a sync and requests permission to pair.
