Versa 2 is deleting my steps

Hello, I’m very frustrated. Fitbit just deleted exactly 5,000 steps.

I closed the app, restarted my phone, restarted the device, removed and re-added the (only) device in the app.

none of those fixed the issue. I’m beyond mad, the whole point of this device is to track my steps and calories in. Accuracy is imperative.

@SageBear Welcome to the Community.

Thanks for sharing these details, as well as the steps tried on your own. I understand how important this data is for you and I'm sorry you've had this experience. Because it's been a few days since shared this post, may I know if the same keeps happening? If that's correct, does it happen after syncing with the Fitbit app?

In the meantime, let me recommend the following steps:

  1. Forget your watch from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. When ask, tap Pair to connect your watch to the Bluetooth settings one more time.
