Tried all the troubleshooting tricks, as my versa is not syncing.  Any other ideas what to do? This is very frustrating!!

Same issue!

I've had the same problem. It was working fine until just a few days ago. Now to get it to sync I have to re-start my phone every time, which is a bit of a nuisance. At the same time it also happened to my wife with her Charge 2. We both have Samsung A5 phones.

Managed to sort it out! Hold the left back button and the top right button on your versa which will turn it off, this allows it to reset itself. Hey presto all sorted!! 😄

Hello @Cycling42@Taekwondoforfun and @Runnnn, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

@Cycling42, thanks for coming back and let us know your issue got resolved after restarting your Versa, I'm very glad.

@Taekwondoforfun and @Runnnn, If you have already restarted your Fitbit device as @Cycling42 did and it's still not syncing with the Fitbit app, please try the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

@Taekwondoforfun, I understand you're having trouble with your Android phone, please note that this board is specifically for iOS devices so I would like to suggest you to check the Android boards for more troubleshooting steps specific for Android devices.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply. Smiley Happy
