Weather app

Just called Fitbit for the 4th time as I cannot get the weather app to save my locations to provide weather information. Any suggestions? I have the regular Versa

I did not mean to mark this as best answer as none of it helped. I was trying to reply but clicked the wrong box. Do you have any other suggestions to have this app save the locations?

Hello again @LisaKara 

To use apps such as the Weather app, location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app

By default, the Weather app shows your current location, which cannot be deleted.

Add up to 2 additional locations you want to see in the Weather app do this:

Open the Fitbit app and tap Profile picture > scroll down and tap Versa 
Now scroll down Tap Apps.

Tap the gear icon next to Weather. You may need to scroll down to find the app.

Tap Add City to add up to 2 additional locations or tap Edit > the X icon to delete a location. Note that you can't delete your current location.

Sync your watch with the Fitbit app. It can take a few minutes to see the updated list of locations on your watch.

If the weather for your current location doesn’t appear, double check that you turned on location services for the Fitbit app.

Hello, no that does not help. I have read through the articles you provided and verified a settings are correct. I have also restarted, synced and even removed and reinstalled the device. I have also called Fitbit 4 times and have been told it is a known issue yet none of the many people I know who have this device are having this issue. I cannot get the weather app to save the location I have entered or provide data for my current location. Is there a way around that?

Hello again @LisaKara 

Weather app require All-Day Sync to be turned on for data to be sent from the Fitbit app to your watch. Maybe that is the step your missing. Let’s look:

ope the Fitbit App

tap profile picture 

scroll down and tap Versa 

now scroll down and make sure All Day Sync is enabled 

 

Is yours enabled?

I can’t think of any other setting you need. I can only suggest posting your question here in the Fitbit App Gallery: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Fitbit-App-Gallery/bd-p/appgallery. That forum addresses add on type apps such as the one you are describing. I’m sorry I was unable to help.
