What happened to the live heart rate in the app?

First Fitbit minimized the heart rate and other text on charge 3 to a size that is difficult to read and now they have gotten rid of the ability to have active heart rate in the new app. It is literally tinyer than the app. No reason for this and if it is not going to be fixed I’m switching to another product.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the Charge 3 and I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you've experienced with it. I understand your position, and let me help you with this. About the screen getting smaller to read, does this happen with any clock face? If so, I'd recommend to restart your Charge 3 to refresh its performance.

 

Now, regarding to your other inquiry, since the live heart rate isn't appearing on the Fitbit app I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to fitbit.com dashboard and log in to your account.
  3. Tap or click on the gear icon at the upper right corner.
  4. Tap or click on Charge 3 from the drop-down menu.
  5. Scroll down and make sure the "Live Data" option is enabled.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and you'll get your live heart rate when using your Charge 3.

 

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Regarding the Charge 3, it is not a clock face issue. It is that when you
scroll the screen it displays 2 items on the same screen.

On the app, it is not that the app is not displaying live HR data. It is
that it is so small that you cannotr see it. It used to be that you could
see the full screen with HR. Now it is a tiny 1/8 screen with HR.

If Fitbit does not provide a return to the former app I would like to
return my charge 3 in order to purchase a Garmin which now is a much better
product.

Hi I am still looking for a way to return my Charge 3 since you have minimized the text on screens and minimized size of heart rate text on App.  You have made the product unsaleable for its intended purpose.
