Just wondering what happens if I was to block someone? Like do I just completely disappear to them? We have mutual friends and are always in the same challenges but I don't want to see all the comments she makes or for her to see mine? So just wondering how it works?

Hello @SunsetRunner, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!
When you block a person, you will no longer be able to see him/her on your leader board and it won't appear on your friend list, the same happens on his/her side, therefore he/she will no longer be able to send you private messages. However, in a group Challenge, the person will still appear and he/she will be able to see your message and you'll still be able to see his/hers as even if you have blocked a person, some others might not and will still have the option to invite him/her.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted!

Hello @Stone98, I hope you're having a great day, it's nice to see you around!
As mentioned above, when you block a person, he/she will no longer appear on your friend list and you will be removed from his/her friend list as well, this will prevent this person from sending you private messages.
To block a person:
I hope this can be useful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted!

@MarcoGFitbit so if you are invited to a challenge and you accept and then you see a person you have blocked has also been invited am I right in understanding that....
You will still see them and their steps on the challenge and they can see yours? But.... my question is... if they click on your nname/profile what will show for them? Do they just see your pic and your blurb of info like everyone else who is not a friend and the friend request button is not there or do they just get diverted back to another screen?

Hello @mills8868, I hope you're having a great day, it's nice to see you around.
Please note that even if you have blocked a person, if you're both on a challenge, you will be able to see each other and your profiles. However, the blocked person won't be able to see the other person's personal stats (only the profile and background images), the "Add Friend" button will still show up but in case the blocked person sends a friend request, it will not arrive to its destination.
Now, is my recommendation, to prevent your privacy, that you go to your personal stats and change your personal data by going to Account > Your Name > Privacy Settings and set each individual stats to be seen only by you or by your friends:
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello @Dundeal and @Pooh_22, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you both on board.
@Pooh_22, if you accidentally blocked a friend, go to the Fitbit app and tap on Account. Scroll all the way down and you will be able to see "Blocked users" tap here to get the list of people you have blocked, tap UNBLOCK on your friend's name and picture, this will unblock your friend and will send a friend invite.
@Dundeal, if you have blocked a user, this user will not be able to see your friends and you will no longer show in that user's friend list.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
