I just updated to the new layout as well. All My groups are gone. Our company started employees using Fitbit to use the challenges between employees. Google, after purchasing Fitbit has removed all the community features. I think that's a huge mistake.
I've owned 4 Fitbits. None have failed. I each case I upgraded due get the latest inovative features. When I upgrade from my current Versa 3, I'll be looking at other brands; certainly Garmin. Other brands now have more features. The community features were the reason why I've been staying with Fitbit.
