Hi @J_T_W. This feature has me intrigued. I would like to use it myself! I’m checking with Support and will get back to you as soon as I find anything out.

OK, @J_T_W. I’ve got the answer from Support.

The screen shots in the blog announcement have changed but the capabilities described below are similar, if not as smart.

  • Open the iPhone Fitbit app. Tap the Account icon at the top, right of the screen.
  • Scroll down to Goals.

There you will see a list of the available goals that you may fine tune. Personally, I hope Fitbit will develop the features into something more like what is in the blog. But for now, this will work for me. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

The goals wizard used to exist - I've used it twice before.  I revisit about once a year, and it is only this year that I can't find it.  Its great that others may have just the right answers for what their component settings should be - some of us would like the assistance to better get where we want to go.

I understand what you are saying, @J_T_W. That “smart” feature would be helpful but it appears it never fully got off the ground. For now, what I described is what we have. However ... Fitbit welcomes suggestions for new feature suggestions. You have a couple choices.

  1. An idea similar to yours has already been suggested. You can tap here and vote for it. Looks like it did not get enough votes.
  2. Or, create your own suggestion. Tap here to get started. You may want to include the links from your original posting. They were very helpful.

If you create your own suggestion, please post a link back here. I’ll vote for it!
