Why do my calories burned show as identical every day, even when steps are very different?

As the title says... no matter what I do, Fitbit shows the calories burned as 2391.

May 25, 9641 steps: 2391 calories
May 24, 10,713 steps: 2391 calories

May 22,  6018 steps: 2391 calories

May 18, 20,232 steps, 2391 calories

I have to go back to May 15 to find anything different, and that 13,901 steps and ... 2390 calories.

What's going on?

Hi @groundzero. Welcome back to the community forums.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Fitbit app.

Please, confirm that you are using the latest version of the Fitbit app. See this help article: How do I use the Fitbit app?

Also, the latest version of your Fitbit device. Please see: How do I update my Fitbit device?

Thanks, I know about general troubleshooting. I no longer update my Fitbit app though because it's too risky--the app keeps getting worse and worse, and features once lost are never restored, and there is no way to go back. I've already lost so many of the features that originally drew me to Fitbit!

If the app can no longer count calories, though, I think it's time to just switch over completely to Apple Watch. Thank you for trying to help though.
