Why is the Fitbit app not showing calories left for the day after the time change? I depended on that to know how much more or less I could consume on any given day. Now I have to calculate it myself. Why would Google take this away from users?

Hi, @PatriciaL20753 after time changes sometimes there are minor glitches while the system updates - I guess even computers need some time to adjust! Please do check again in the next day or two and confirm whether everything is working as expected. If not please do post again so the Google engineers can look into this issue.

Still not the way it was. Under the Today-Summary tab, it shows calories in and out and underneath only daily calorie goal. Before the update, the Fitbit app showed calories "left" for the day. So if your caloric goal was 1000 calories, and you used 800, it would show 200 calories left for the day. Now users have to calculate it. It can't be that difficult to put it back to the way it was. I count calories every day, and I have to get out my calculator and do it myself. It was a very nice perk, can't figure out why Google would no longer offer it.

The last app update broke the calorie deficit tracking feature. Since then Fitbit has been unable to provide any information on when this will be fixed.

Any updates for this? It’s the main feature I use as well and not having it really messes me up.

Hi everyone!
Thank you for your patience. Our team found the cause of the issue and are currently fixing it.
Personalized calorie goals should now be showing up correctly. Please note that if you manually set a fixed goal as a temporary workaround, that fixed goal will remain until you change it.
You might still see an error message when creating or updating a food plan, but we expect to have this resolved within the next few days.
I always appreciate all your messages and feedback.

This feature is still not working for me. When I change the plan to a deficit, it immediately changes back to set calories when I go to the food entry page.
