Wi Fi ... no connection?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Ive had my fitbit since january this year. Worked well up until last month.

For some reason my Fitbit Versa has lost connection to the Wi Fi at my house.

So ive tried rebooting the device  ... didnt work ... and then reinstalling from the beginnig.

All goes well on the reinstalling... up to when it searches for a WiFi network.

Cant find it. Thats where it stops. Why ?

Do I have to get really close to the router? Ive got a strong signal on the Macbook Pro,  ipad Pro and My OPPO phone.

Hello @Rolyat is your tracker plugged in and charging?

As for distance from the router, WiFi at best is good for 150 feet.

Have you tried shutting the tracker off and restarting? As well as the router?

Thanks for getting back.

The iPad llnked up with the Iconic. “ found it “ ..The 4 digit numbers exchanged between the two..

Then moving on to the wifi settings it “ can’t find the device.. unable to connect to your iconic”.

"Lost connection to your Iconic”

Any further ideas?

I took your advice.

Moved closer to the WIFi Router.. Tracker plugged in.

Reset the Watch and exchanged the 4 digit numbers, between the iPad and Fitbit.
It all looked good.

... but the app couldn’t find the WiFi?
Strange as the iPad is certainly connected to the WiFi .

Thinking of sending it back.

I'm having the same problem.  Tracker (Versa) is working fine. Everything is set up and I'm logged in to Fitbit.  Got a new ipad recently and it can not find my WiFi network.  I've tried everything mentioned.  Did you ever figure it out?

I'm confused @KatLJB the only reason to setup WiFi is if the router was changed.

Simply switching to an iPad or iPhone will not require a setup of the WiFi

Either way, it won’t connect to my WiFi. ???? And my devices do not come up under Bluetooth (on my iPad)...only on my iPhone.

The tracker itself does not need WiFi less you want to load music onto the tracker.

As for Bluetooth, there is nothing you can do from this screen other than removing the tracker.

You say that the tracker is working fine @KatLJB

When switching phones or iPads the user simply needs to install the Fitbit app onto the new device. Then log into their account. Grant permissions requested.

Also once the tracker is setup the tracker does not have to be setup again, even when switching phones.

Thx for your input. I have done all the above. When I open the Fitbit app on my iPad it does not want to sync... I thought that the WiFi setting would help with that. I'll look at other responses re: syncing issues. Thx again.
