If my iPhone is on Do Not Disturb, but I have text notifications enabled on my fitbit, will my watch still vibrate when I get a text?

Hi @Kaylaantonitis. It has been my experience that putting my iPhone in Do Not Disturb mode stops the sound and vibration on my iPhone. This in turn, stops the notification from going to my Fitbit device.

But ...

It depends on how you set up Do Not Disturb on your iPhone. Mine is set up NOT to block calls/messages from those listed in my Favorites. So those will get transferred to my Fitbit device. My iPhone is also set up to allow a second call from the same number to come thru to my iPhone ... then to my Fitbit. There are various ways to set up the iPhone’s Do Not Disturbe mode. You can tap here for more info from Apple if you want. But again, my experience has been if I turn off the notification from the iPhone side of things ... they will not be sent to my Fitbit device.  Hope this helps.

Hello @Kaylaantonitis, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @SunsetRunner, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@Kaylaantonitis, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for posting your question. Please note that as @SunsetRunner mentioned, if the iPhone is put on "Do Not Disturb" your Fitbit device will not receive Notifications. In fact, this is one of the things that are checked first when someone is not able to receive Notifications on their trackers.

I hope this can helps, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

@katgogo - do you have an iPhone?  Just to be safe, I put my iPhone on Do Not Disturb then place my Fitbit device in Sleep mode every night. I do not see or hear notifications until the morning when I turn everything back on.

@katgogo - I’m so sorry. You posted in the IOS App forum so I assumed you had an iPhone. Please tap here to get to the Android forum and post your question there. Be sure to say which Fitbit device you are using and which phone you are syncing to. Someone there will be able to help.
