Won’t let me Join Family account on Fitbit app for iPhone

I have a charge 2 and my iPhone sent me a notification stating that I have been sent a family request to Join Family, yet when I click on the button to join family a message pops up saying “the operation couldn’t be completed. (.comfitbit.HTTP error 404.

 Anyone know what is happening?

@Amy-Louise Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear about your issues joining a Family account. Try logging out from the app, restart your iPhone and then log back in and also make sure you have the app up to date.

 

I also moved your post to the correct board.

I am having the same problem when attempting to add my wife to my family account in her app. I get the same error message as what the previous user reported above. I have signed us both out and rebooted our phones but the problem persists.
