Hello. I am very new to the fitbit community. So, I am very sorry if this is handled elsewhere. My question is .. Do I need to keep my iphone bluetooth on in order to exercise or use my incredible fitbit Charge 2?
Thanks!
joie

@joiedozpat welcome to the community
No, you only need to keep your bluetooth on if you want to sync your fitbit to the dashboard or if you want to use the notifications feature. Fitbits are quite happy to track activity on their own and can go up to 7 days between syncs.

No. One of the FitBit features is to exercise without needing phone. However if you want mapping too, you will need to use with phone using the app's new feature Track Exercise. Which FYI can be used in the event you forget your FitBit. Both can be used independently.
However you need Bluetooth and phone to sync at the end of the day. It is best to do at least daily.
