can't add friend from contacts in Charge HR iOs app

Hi all, I've got myself a charge HR and now i cannot add my friend in the iOs fitbit app. We both have an iPhone, he has the surge and i have the charge hr. Can't find him in my contacts in the fitbit app, and the other way round for him too. Have logged out, restarted my phone, nothing works. Anyone familiar with this issue? Cheers in advance!

Thanks, i've contacted them but because it takes 2 days i thought i'd put it on here too might be a simple thing someone else knows 🙂

It's possible to send a invite by email or facebook on the computer from your account: https://www.fitbit.com/friends

On the computer, forums:

Click on the username next to the post, on the next page next to the users picture click 'go to fitbit profile', on the next page click 'add friend' (next to the users picture).
