My wife and I both have a fitbit and use the fitbit app. We have the app connected to facebook but we cnt find each other. Also it wont show up under phone contacts or email.

Hey there @redneckmedic thanks for the update my friend! 
Since your Fitbit and Facebook accounts are already linked and you aren't seeing your wife as a friend suggestion, it might be that your wife doesn't have her Fitbit and Facebook accounts linked.
Fitbit will only find Facebook friend suggestions if your friends also have their Fitbit and Facebook accounts linked.
