iOS App bugs

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Edit. Found workaround have to force close app and restart then it displays correctly.

Reporting on a few bugs with the latest ios app, also charge 2 updates to latest firmware.

Got device at christmas and noticed that the graphs for Heart Rate are not updating correctly.

They don't appear to log cardio or peak heart rate zones.

Even though charge 2 is reading the correct heart rates and app is detecting them in app with bargraph time in zones section.

Pics above are from 2 days on a 5K run and heart rate was above 140 to 180 but is not recorded in the beats per minute graph but is accounted for time wise in the time in heart rate zones.

Also minutes in heart rate zones graph is fully yellow instead on yellow, orange and red to show zones.

Thanks been looking a bit more into the app and have made a few observations.

If you goto Exercise menu then to the Minutes in heart rate zones Subpage.

It displays as follows:

IMG_5087.PNG

Notice that for today it's showing up as only fat burn and cardio.

Now if we expand the page it displays as follows:IMG_5088.PNG

It's displaying the correct zones overlay with fat burn, cardio and peak zone times.

Also if you goto Heart Rate menu then the minutes in heart rate Subpage as shown below:IMG_5089.PNG

Some days are showing correct but not all.

(App has been hard reset).

Compared to when you expand the page:IMG_5090.PNG

So to me it looks like that the Exercise-heart rate pages for both menus are not updating the graph overlays correctly.

Also it would make more sense to rename this Subpage to Exercise Minutes in Heart Rate Zones as it's only counting the zone minutes from exercise times and not total zone minutes like from the Heart Rate page.

Speaking of which like above would make more sense if the heart rate menu for the minutes Subpage was renamed to Total Minutes in Heart Rate Zones

Renaming would help differentiate from the two similar pages and show what each is measuring time wise for zone recordings.

John G.
