iOS app freezes when press the sleep section on the dashboard. Whilst it does unfreeze when I restart my iPhone, I shouldn’t have to restart my phone every time I try to sync my Fitbit.

Hello and welcome @lyssfitz
I see your Fitbit App freezes when tapping the sleep section of the app. I would suggest trying these steps to see if this resolves the issue:
log out of the Fitbit App
force shut theFitbit App by swiping the app upward
now completely shut down your iOS device, wait 1-2 mins then restart your iOS device
log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password
sync your Fitbit Tracker
now tap the sleep section of the Fitbit App
😃 Hopefully this provides you with an answer. If this does indeed resolve your issue could you please tap the “Choose as best Answer” box just under my post? Doing so really helps other individuals who come to this community looking for answers to questions similar to your own. I’d really appreciate it!

Sorry @megabyte but this is not really helpful. if I restart my iPhone then it unfreezes, my issue is that it shouldn’t freeze in the first place and I shouldn’t have to restart my phone every time I sync my Fitbit.

Hello again @lyssfitz
Actually the Fitbit App freezing at times may, in most cases, have nothing to do with the App but your iOS device in general. There are multiple reasons why you’re supposed to restart your phone at least once a week, and it’s for a good cause: retaining memory, preventing crashes, running more smoothly, and prolonging battery life. Crashing happens for various reasons, but not restarting your phone can definitely have an effect, as every update, page loaded, and app installed or deleted will add and remove code in the operating system of the phone. Restarting your phone will eliminate most of these issues and will get your phone working better.
But with that said, restarting your iOS device is your choice but I really think it’s quite helpful.

I’m quite certain it’s a software issue with the Fitbit app and not an issue with my phone because it’s only the Fitbit app that’s freezing; and it occurs in the same circumstance every time — in the morning when it’s syncing my sleep data from the previous night.
