iOS app not showing GPS track in the detailed map

I went from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 11, and the fitbit app no longer shows my GPS track on the detailed view of an excercise/walk.  The app works fine during the walk and shows the red line track.  After I "finish" the walk, and allow the fitbit (Inspire 2) to sync with the app, the thumbnail image shows up fine in Exercise Panel.  The problem is when I go to the "detail" of that walk.  Before, it would show the detailed map, with the red line track, and the mile marks.  NOW the detail shows a view of the entire US of A, and when I touch this map, it then zooms into the local area of the walk... but there is no red line track, only the black mile markers.

I would post pictures but it is not obvious how to include images in this forum.

Is there a setting that I am missing?  Do I need to update iOS or the Fitbit app?

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Is there a post on this already?

Thank you in advance!

OK... applied myself to the task today.   Yes, there is a bug... when the detail map comes up on the "Default" screen, the red line track is missing.  But if you switch from "Default" to "Heart Zone" or "Pace", then back to "Default" the red track will show up.
