iPad message alerts to Alta

Yesterday, I was receiving alerts on my Alta when people sent me a message through my iPad (iMessage). It showed me the person's name and their message. Today it won't do it. Yes my Bluetooth is on and I've been close to the device when someone has tried to send a message. Any ideas why it work 1 day and not the next? Thanks

Hi @Seajay035 and welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Distance could definitely be a factor here, your Alta has to be within a 20 ft radius to sync and receive notifications.

If you don't think that distance is a factor, I'd recommend the following:

1. Restart your tracker.

2. Open your iOS setting > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

3. Reboot your iOS device.

The steps above should help, but if for some reason the problem persists, I'd then recommend:

1. Opening your iOS settings > tap Bluetooth > tap your tracker and then tap 'Forget Device'.

2. Log out of the Fitbit App.

3. Reboot your mobile device.

4. Restart your tracker.

5. Login to the App and tap the Account button in the iOS App > tap your the tracker tile at the top > and turn on your preferred notifications.

Keep me posted if this helps and welcome to the Community!
