iPhone Battery

Hi,

Recently the battery on my iPhone gets depleted really quickly, looking at the battery app the Fitbit App is using the battery for about 11hrs in the background over 24hrs and over 100 hours in 10 days.  I have background app refresh turned off and also all day sync turned off yet it is still running in the background, is there anything I can’t do to cut down the usage?

Thanks,

Matthew

Hi @MattCUK - Here are a couple more suggestions.

  • In your iPhone settings page, go to Fitbit or locations and see how your location is set up. You may want to turn Location off.

Also, try powering your iPhone off completely ... wait a few minutes ... then power it back on. Sometimes that is all it takes to snap the new settings into place.

Finally, regarding your iPhone, another thing I’ve done to make my phone battery last longer is to turn off notifications and background refresh for Mail and Facebook.

Hi,

Thank you, I had location set to only use when using app so I have now turned this off and see how it goes.

Kind regards,

Matthew
