We need a bit more info, is this a new phone. Did you have it hooked up to your old phone. You have to remove your Fitbit from your old phone before it will recognize your new phone.

Hello @Gazzahoss, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy, it's also nice to see you @ACG, thanks for your help with this matter.

@Gazzahoss, please keep in mind that your Fitbit tracker does not sync directly through the Bluetooth on your phone, it uses the Fitbit app to do it. If you're able to see your tracker on the list of paired devices on your phone's Bluetooth that might be because Notifications or All-day Sync have been enabled.

If your tracker is having trouble syncing, please try the following:

  • Restart your Charge 2
  • Restart your phone
  • Turn off Bluetooth from your phone settings for 15 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the syncing process.

If your tracker is still not syncing correctly, let's try adding it as a new device to reset the connection between the tracker and the phone. Don't worry, none of the information previously stored in your account will be deleted.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink
