hello all!

just now, i went for a walk, and when i came back and synched (via computer), the computer dashboard shows in the graph that i have had increased activity, but the # of steps does not update.  it does update in my iphone app.  perhaps i am not using the dashboard properly?  i have it set to display daily steps, but all i see where the 'steps' tile is, is my daily best (from an old flex i had a few years ago).  i am using my old account and i have 'replaced' my old device with the new one.  am i looking inthe wrong place for my # of steps?

thanks for any ideas!

It's nice to see you arund the Community @sparti Woman Very Happy, welcome!

It seems that your step tile is hidden on your Dashboard.

Your dashboard comes pre-loaded with tiles based on the products you have linked to your Fitbit.com profile. You can add additional tiles to see even more information:

  1. Click the Menu icon on the left side of the dashboard.
    User-added image
  2. Click the check box next to the tile you'd like to add.
  3. Click Done.

Let me know if after that you're able to see your step tile. I'll be here!~

Hi MarreFitbit, thank you for responding to my post.
I do actually have the steps tile on my dashboard but all it shows is my
highest daily score which is from when I previously had a Fitbit. I used
my old account but did the process of 'replacing' that one with my new one.
Some of my old date still shows, though, like recent activity. Do you think
I'd be better off to create a whole new account? On my phone the steps have
the circular 'icon' and updates my steps every time I sync. On the computer
it's a green square that never changes. When I look at the other tiles
there is no other steps tile for me to move to the dashboard.
So confusing!
Thanks very much for trying to help me!

Hmmm...very strange let me say @sparti. Would you mind to share with me a screen shot showing what you're getting?

Have you made sure that your Flex was properly linked to your currently Fitbit account? The replacement process won't replace your old data, it will keep all your stats plus the new one. Maybe you're having syncing issues? Try following the troubleshooting steps I've share in this post to see if that solves the inconvenience.

I'll be around!

MarreFitbit- hi! What you're describing is exactly what I think is
happening. I have a mix of old and new data. I am going to follow your
instructions and see if that doesn't fix my weirdness :).
I would be glad to share a screen shot but I'm very un-techie and don't
know how to do that! Though I could take a picture of my computer screen
(where the unchanging steps tile is) and share that.
Maybe all I need to do is what you've shared in the other post. Gonna give
it a try!
Thanks!
