Sorry for another post about the calories. I just don't understand it. I need a 750/day calorie deficit to reach my weight loss goal and I've set that up multiple times on the iPhone app but when I look at my food page it says for example: 190 cals in - 790 cals out. 0 daily calorie goal and the dial is in the red zone. Is that because currently as it stands I don't have 750 more out than I've had in?

Any help will be appreciated. TIA.

@SaraPA A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to share Helena's post, which will explain extra info about calories deficit.

Also, whether you're in the goal zone set by your Food Plan. Your plan's deficit is pro-rated over the entire day. You will be in your goal zone as long as you are within 50 calories of your deficit goal for the current time of day. In the example above, the 1,834 next to the knife and fork are for calories eaten, and the 2,169 next to the calorie symbol are for calories burned.

Below you will find a chart that explains an estimate of loss pounds according to your weight loss goal.

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal

Hope this info helps my friend! Smiley Happy

@Kimberscam I recommend logging out of the Fitbit app and logging back into the app and then giving it another try. Let me know if that helps get you setup.

Mine is also doing this. It stays at 0 and in the red zone even on days I've worked out. Is it meant to move???
