One thing I just did was I went to the Fitbit dashboard on Chrome and under the Friends section, it offered to link Facebook and linked that way. Still will not work on the phone though, but at least you can add people via dashboard.

Hello @Slapee have you given your Fitbit App permission to access Facebook?

On the Friends page there should be a link to add facebook.

When you go to Facebook.com in the web browser, does it automatically log you in?

The only other thing I can think off is your Facebook connected to your phone.. Phone Settings - Account, do you see an entry for Facebook?

I'm having the same problem. Allowed Facebook to have access through my settings, yet it still has the same error code. My Facebook is fully set up on my phone and when I go into it, nothing pops up asking if FitBit is allowed to have access, same with if I go onto Facebook via Chrome.

You need to go into settings and then the facebook app, put in your password and then update all contacts, you will then be able to link the fitbit app to facebook.

I'm sure you've resolved your issue by now but I found this thread during a google search. I was having the same exact issue. iPhone 7, was trying to link Facebook so I could search for friends and I got the same pop up. I deleted my Facebook app from my phone and reinstalled it. When I reopened the Fitbit app I was able to connect my account to Facebook,

I feel like your suggestion has been working for people, but I don't quite understand what it is you're supposed to do?
