Hi there @rodcatz, welcome aboard to our Community. This is the first time I heard a case like this, but sure we can find a solution. Make sure your partner has set up your old Surge using a different account from yours, so your old tracker recognized is pair on a new account.

If all this is good and the issue persist, on your mobile device do the following:

Tell your mobile device to "forget" your tracker:

  1. On your mobile device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap your tracker and then tap Forget Device.

By doing this, the issue should be resolved as there wont be a connection between your old Surge with your mobile device.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be here if you need more help.
