Premature termination of Fitbit pay

Hi

according to the announcement, made by Google, Fitbit pay will not work after the 29th of July 2024. The problem I have is that Fitbit Pay stopped working by the 1st of May 2024 (in Sweden) instead of the 29th of July.

According to my bank (SEB), which has supported Fitbit pay for many years, they do not have any information why Fitbit pay is no longer supported by Google.

Do anybody have any further information of why FItbit Pay not is working any more?

Unfortunately, we may just have to wait for further information from Google.  Information like this isn't normally released to the public this early.
