Why won’t my sons Ace 2 sync with my iPhone? The first day I could view his step through out the day on my phone and now it’s not allowing me. I tried rebooting the Fitbit but still nothing. Also what does the 9999 on the rocket ship clock face mean? Why doesn’t it go away?

Regarding your question about the 9999 number that shows on the rocket ship clock face, it's usually the main goal that your kid has set. It should have an icon showing to which it belongs to. Check the screenshot below:
