Having just bought my daughter a FitBit Ace ... some initial feedback ....
Essential:
Provide parent account ability to view all statistics without entering passwords. For those people that use secure passwords (i.e. up to 32 characters) this is highly inconvenient.
Nice To Have:
Ability to upload a photo
The instructions need improving when we have multiple devices - it was not clear I needed to login with the parent login and switch on the ipod touch.
Questions:
My daughter has a ipod touch - this does appear to sync?
Moderator edit: Updated subject for clarity

@rncross wrote:Further : it would be great if it would track distance.
( And I wish this forum software would allow you to edit a post! )
You can edit the posts on the forum by looking at the corner of your post on the right hand side. You will see 3 dots. Click them and you will see an option to edit your reply.
Back to the iPod in question, which generation does your daughter have?
I'd love to answer your other questions, but I haven't even set up my Ace yet, so I don't know much about the issues you are experiencing. I'll probably set mine up sometime this weekend.

Hi,
Thanks for the hint re three dots ; I did see that but there is no edit option even though I am logged in!
Its an iPod Touch 6th Gen - it does seem to sync.
I think the lack of recording distance is a shame and the parent view could easily have _major_ improvements via an app update.
