help! I have had a Fitbit ace for a couple years, and today I got 16,000 steps! Of course I got really exited and went to log a walk in the exercise section of the app. When I entered the walk into the app, it brought my steps down to 11,000! This has also happened with my active minutes before and I don’t like that happening! What can I do to fix this?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @goalgoat.
Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling about this situation. If you logged your activity manually, the manually logged activities override your device's data. You can see a decrease in active minutes or steps after logging an activity, which can occur if what your tracker recorded was more intense than what you logged. For more information about logging activities manually, see How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?
I was able to see that you have already contacted our Support team regarding this. Thank you for your time and efforts.
Hope this helps!
