My child has a Fitbit for over a year and recently the app logged us out and deleted all data. I’m trying to reconnect but it won’t let me select child after selecting Ace 3. I’ve tried signing in and out but seems to be a bug in the system as I just can’t select add child.

Hi - I am trying to setup an Ace 3. I have the google family account setup and have my son as a child on it. I can’t select his profile in the Fitbit app which I need to do to connect the Ace 3 to the app. Can anyone help me?

In the Fitbit app
go to the “you” tab
Tap the “family” icon
Select add child
you have to add them here. You can’t do it after selecting the device you’re trying to register until you add them there.
