Can’t add children on app

My son just got a Fitbit Ace but when I’m trying to set up the app I can’t add a child account. I get to a page titled Direct Privacy Notice that is blank and it doesn’t go any further. I have tried now on two different devices, same problem each time. How do I set up a child account so he can actually use the thing?!

Thank you, I have read that but the app doesn’t work so it is not possible to set up a child account. There is no way to progress so I would like Fitbit to fix this glitch.

Thanks, I have tried on an iPod and on an iPhone SE - on both I have managed to set up the account with my details but when I continue to add child account the first step is a privacy notice but it is literally a blank page with Direct Privacy Notice at the top and a black cross. Nothing loads so the only option is to exit the page via the black cross and then I am back to the account page. So frustrating! Very grateful if you can help.
