My child’s Fitbit ace has an exercise panel and when we go for a walk we add an exercise but the amount of steps it says she has done adds on to the ones already there so the amount of steps for the day doubles. How can I fix this?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @ExcerciseGirrl. I am sorry for the delayed response.

 

I am sorry to hear the amount of steps for the day doubles after you add the exercise on your child's exercise panel. If your child is wearing the tracker during a walk, it's not necessary to log the exercise. However, I recommend to restart the app (For iOS see this article, and for Android see this article) and sync the tracker to make sure the app is showing an updated information.
