I recently bought 2 Fitbit Ace 3's for my kids. I tried the setup and everything went well except pairing the bluetooth. The watches seem to work fine (although I am suspicious that they are counting more steps than they should) but no matter what I try, they will not pair to my phone so I am unable to sync to the app so I can see the stats.
I have tried deleting the child profiles and setting up new ones, uninstalling and reinstalling the app many times, restarting my phone, turning off and on bluetooth, and setting these things up for 3 days now - nothing works. I have tried to pair them more times than I care to say.
What can I do because my kids really love these watches and I can't afford the other versions. Any suggestions?
Looks like I'm not alone. I have also been experiencing the issue of pairing Bluetooth with Google Pixel phones. I was able to add the tracker under my child's account, but unable to pair or sync afterwards 😞 I wonder if anyone else has any solution to this...
Me too, tried all the suggestions and nothing has worked. When we first set it up at the Start of September it was working fine and syncing and then i think the app got updated around the 11th September and its never worked since. Each day i check the Google Store to see if there is a new update for the app that will fix it and i think there was on 19th September but it still didnt work. What is funny tho is that my Wife wanted to get some cheaper ones but i said no get a fitbit at least it will be supported and have updates and not just disappear as a company. If you go through the forums this has been a problem for over a year and not just for the Ace 3 so i am not hopeful that it will ever get sorted.
This has been an on off problem the past 2 months since I purchased my son's ace 3. Previous threads also reporting problems. It seems to be tied to Fitbit updates. Hopeing it is fixed again soon .
It's been over a month now, I'm still unable to pair my Ace 3 with Bluetooth after adding it to my child's account. Some people mentioned that this might be related to software updates, however, without getting it paired to the phone how would the tracker receive any software updates? 🤔
The watch cannot receive updates, but the app on the paired phone will. A fix needs to be built into the app itself for the watch to sync. Google is ignoring this issue as it doesn't sell new devices and increase profits.
