Fitbit Ace Showerproof?

The Ace is advertised as being Showerproof, but then uses sweat and spills as examples for the type of water exposure it can handle.

Can it actually be worn in the shower?

I've never tried any of my Fitbit devices in the shower, only because of the chemicals used in shampoo and conditioner.  With something that can be over $100+ very easily, I wouldn't chance it.

 

Something like washing your hands, where there isn't a constant onslaught of water, is fine.

@HeatherNM Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding your question, the Ace can be worn while getting a shower. You can find this information in the "Water Resistance" area of this page. Rest assured that the Ace can't be worn in a swimming pool.
