Please HELP!!! My daughters Fitbit was working fine until it ran completely out of charge!! I put it on charge when she went to put it on it wouldn’t work and wasn’t responding to taps, put it back on charge and then the battery symbol came up with an exclamation mark in it! It’s been like that ever since!!
Ive cleaned the charging port, tried different plugs, reset the thing loads and loads of times and nothing still
exactly the same......what next???
I have a very upset 8 year old who has only had it a couple of months!!
Please can can I have some advice on how to fit this problem!!!

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @Sarah100! Hope you’re enjoying the forums!
Thanks for all those steps you've tried already. I'll be glad to give you a hand with this. I've seen that when a critically-low warning appears, you need to charge the Ace as soon as possible. It might be that it used all the energy from the battery during the last period your daughter used it. You did an excellent job restarting and cleaning contacts on your daughter's Fitbit.
In some other cases, this also means that Fitbit Ace was trying to do a firmware update and for some reason it got stuck in the process. If the restart is not helping, please try the suggested steps here: How do I update my Fitbit device?
Finally, please confirm the Fitbit App and phone are up to date first, then you can follow these steps:
