Fitbit Ace not compatible with app after recent update

Original kids ace no longer compatible with app is this an oversight on the most recent update? Is it possible to load a previous version of the app?

Why do you say it is no longer compatible?  Tell us the symptom(s).

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It doesn’t have any symptoms but when I open the app the ace is registered to it simply says Your Fitbit is no longer compatible with this app with the option to ignore (and therefore app won’t sync) or to update app - no update available

This won't really help you, but I don't think the Ace has really been dropped.  I expect it's a fluke in the app, which I guess is what you had already suspected.  I'll try to keep an eye out for any others with the same problem.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Debris1978. It's nice to see you around, @JohnnyRow

@Debris1978 I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about the Ace trackers compatible with the app since the recent update. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this and providing the additional details. While we don't recommend using a previous version of the app, I recommend trying to log out of the app and log back in, restart the app and the phone.

If the issue persists, please let me know the model of your phone and the operating system. Do you get the error message when you're trying to change to kid view? I will be glad to investigate further.

You can find information about syncing Ace trackers in this help article: How does my child sync Ace or Ace 2 with their device?

@JohnnyRow thank you for your support.

Please keep me posted, I'll be around.
