Got my daughter a fitbit Ace for Christmas and set up family account on my LG K8 phone.
I also got a new Charge 3 at the same time.
The Ace has synced once, straight after set up but hasn't synced for 2 days since, not even when I go into the app and request sync. There are no issues with the charge 3, so I think the app is working.
I've read other threads and tried the tips - location on, all day sync on, sign out and back in, Charge 3 out of range (what is the range? My house is not big enough to get away from it - do I have to go a walk without my fitbit, therefore losing my step count?)
Basically we're at the point my daughter is fed up with her xmas present cos it's not working - NOTHING is syncing.

I assume you've taken a look at this article?
If none of the tips in there work, you could set it up as a new device for your daughter, but you will have to go through the entire setup process again.

I'm having the same problem. My youngest daughter has had her fitbit ace since May, created family account on mine & hers syncs with no problem but my older daughter's one that she received for christmas has synced initially but not since. I've googled help, force closed the app, turned bluetooth on & off, restarted my iphone but still nothing. The first ace we set up is still syncing ok. Very frustrating

If you look at the link I provided, that may shed some light on your issue. Another thought I had (though it may be a stretch) is to charge the battery on the Ace. I gave my cousin an Ace for Christmas and when I was walking her through the setup process, her Ace wasn't setting up either. So I checked the device and realized that it had low battery. Once we put it on the charger and let it sit there for a few min. to get a decent charge, she was able to set up her new tracker.

Thanks, yes I've seen the article and tried everything there, it's fully charged, purposely let mine run out of charge so it wouldn't interfere, still nothing. It's incredibly frustrating. I'm wishing I'd just got her an Alta instead. The amount of time I have wasted so far is ridiculous and I don't think I'm any further forward. Considered that my phone may not be compatible, but then it did sync first time it got switched on. I really don"t know what to do.
