Fitbit Ace stopped tracking sleep

My daughter's new fitbit ace tracked sleep the first day and hasn't ever since. She's still wearing it on the same wrist, at the same size & it stopped registering. I also tried adjusting the sleep sensitivity to sensitive but still nothing. What is happening?

Have you tried restarting it?  This often helps solve bugs that you may be experiencing (and has helped me a time or 20!).

First, you will need to plug it into a computer, making sure that it's securely attached to the device.

Next, look for a little black button on the charger, towards the computer.  I'm charging my Alta HR now, which has the same type of cable, so I'll snap a picture of the button for you to see.  It's kind of hard to see at first, but it's there.

Press the button rapidly and repeatedly for about 10 seconds, pausing very briefly in between repetitions.  Once you feel the tracker vibrate, the restart was successful.  Repeat the process a few times just to make sure it takes.

This is the button you're looking for. This is the button you're looking for.

Hope this helps!

@ce2018 Thank you for participating in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your daughter's Ace stopped tracking your sleep properly.

I'd like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if the Ace tracks your daughter's sleep  after trying the great workaround that shared my friend @DramaQueenDiva.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy
