Fitbit Ace won’t recharge

We have had my sons ace for 1.5 years and now it just stopped re-charging. When you disconnect it and try again you get the ! Inside of the battery symbol. We have tried all of the troubleshooting thoughts without any luck.  Pretty disappointed!

My kids have to clean the charging contacts pretty often or sweat builds up and messes with charging. Use a toothbrush with rubbing alcohol on the charging contacts and then dry off.

If that doesn’t work, try a restart. To restart Ace, plug it into the charger and press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable. For Ace 2, plug it into the charger and press/hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.

And if that doesn’t work, try moving your charger to a different outlet or charging port to make sure there isn’t an issue with that.
