Hi,
I've been using Fitbit products since the beginning and today I was about to go out and buy a Charge 6. However, upon reading about it I realised I finally need to migrate my account to Google. Our current situation is:
1. I also have a child on my Fitbit account.
2. I am not the manager of our Google family.
3. My child already has a Google email address.
4. My child also has an Android phone with Family Safe on it that I am a manager of.
So from what I can see the steps are:
1. Leave the family group
2. As part of the migration I will have to create a new email for my child which will create another family grouo
OR
1. Leave the family group
2. Ask my partner to transfer supervision of my childs account to me
3. We will then end up with a new family group that I would then need to add my partner to?
Please can anyone who has done this advise me? I don't really see why we need the hassle of new family groups - I just want the existing one to remain as we have everything setup how we like it including my child's Android parental controls etc.

I decided it was easier to delete my childs Fitbit account but to be honest this seems absolutely ridiculous that I need to do that in order to migrate to Google.
