Group

I have created a group for my wife and myself but I want to add my son who has a child’s account. Can this be done and if so how? Thanks

Hi, @SteDavo, the "group" aspect of Fitbit, available only via the web based dashboard, is a fairly old feature of the Fitbit ecosystem, and has been largely superseded by the new Community feature in the app.  

But in any case, the basic principle of the Family Account is that children can only interact with the wider community (and that would include groups) via the master, parent account.  So I think you would not be able to add your child separately.

In fact, I would say that if you want you, your wife, and your child together in a group, that is exactly what a Family Account is designed for.  You can interact with each other, compete, and challenge each other.

Is there something else beyond this that you are hoping to achieve with a group?

Hi, I wondered if you’d manage to work out how to do this? I’d like to do the same (daughter has an ace and is linked through my account) but son has a charge2 and has own account.. we’ve created a group but can’t add daughter.
