Have to Setup Device each time I change views

Hi

*All software is up to date 

I have a Charge 3 and an Ace 3 for my child. I have a family account and a profile for the Ace 3. 
My issue - when I switch between child and parent view - I have to keep setting up both devices each time. Example I view the Ace 3 stats, then switch to parent view my device is no longer an option. To view my stats I have to setup device - vice versa.
