My son wanted a FitBit, he is 9 so I just got him the Ace, now I've heard that I also need a FitBit to be able to create an account for him? Is this true? No one else in our family has a FitBit.

Thank you

Hi, @JenniferLynn88! You need to create the Fitbit account to create a child account for him, but you don't need to have a Fitbit yourself. You can see the instructions for setting up here.

Just adding on to what @MakMak mentioned, if you want to compete with him in step challenges, you could set up Mobile Track on your account, which will sync your steps to the challenge.
