I purchased two Ace 2 units for my children for Christmas, and I really cannot overemphasize how disappointed I am with these items...
First off, they are little more than glorified pedometers. But that's on me... caveat emptor... I should have known what I was purchasing before I bought them.
Second, after pairing the devices up at Christmas, we have since not been able to get either of the devices to sync with either my iPhone, my iPad or my wife's iPhone.
Third, the time display is consistently shown in the 24-hour clock. Not very useful for a 7 and 9 year old.
Fourth, my daughter's fitbit shows the time to be about 2 hours and 10 minutes ahead of the actual time.
If anyone has a solution to these issues... I'm all ears.
Thanks

The standard answer is that the family account clock format should follow the setting that the parent account has set in the web dashboard. That is the place where you can choose what clock format is displayed both in the parent account and family account linked devices.
Unfortunately there seems to be a FitBit aknowledged bug in the system that makes the family account either ignore or reverse the setting that is in the parent account. No ETA on fix, altough it's been in the making for the past half year.
