My fully-charged Alta HR was working fine until I synced it at exactly midnight last night. It now shows the time and monitors my heartbeat, but is not tracking any steps. Any ideas on how to correct?

Hi there @sanderella730, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with your Alta HR not counting your steps but it's geat to know that all other things are working.
At the moment, I can suggest giving your Alta HR a quick restart and see if this makes any difference. You can easily do this by clipping your tracker to the charger and plugging the charger to a USB port on your computer or a wall charger. Then, Press the button on your charging cable three times within four seconds and your tracker should vibrate and show the Fitbit logo. This will make your tracker to reboot.
After restarting your tracker, see if it records your steps. If you need more help, let me know!

Best AnswerMy steps are not tracking correctly. It is random sometimes they calculate and other times they don't. I tried resetting by plugging in and hitting the button 3 times in 4 sec as instructed but it did not help.

Best AnswerPlease help. My Alta HR is not recording my steps properly and my heart b.p.m is way off too.
Unfortunately I do not know how to reset it, as the charger does not have a button on it, as you referred to in your previous posts.
This has been happening to me recently at various times of day.
I've tried restarting my device to, no avail.
Can we please get some help with this?
Thanks.
