Alta HR will not sync

I have been trying to sync my Alta HR for the last few days. I have tried all the steps I could find - I removed the device from my Bluetooth network, I removed my device from my Fitbit account to try and set up again plus I deleted the app and re-installed. Nothing has worked. When I try to add a “new device” in my account it just stalls out looking for a Bluetooth connection. Please help

This worked for me

  • Plug in fit bit
  • press button on charger 3 times to reset
  • turn off blue tooth on phone
  • shut down phone
  • turn on phone
  • open fitbit
  • sign in to fitbit
  • set up hr
  • let it take you to settings to turn Bluetooth back on

Thanks for your help.
I followed all your sets and it still gets stuck at the “Not working” screen in the set up. It just keeps spinning on “searching”.

The same thing is happening to mine. It just stopped working about a week ago.
