Mine stopped working after 12 months. Completely unresponsive. It won't power on, won't charge, and resetting it doesn't work. I called and chatted with FitBit support on several occasions, and they could not resolve the issue or replace the tracker.

Similar story. My first Alta HR died at around 12 months and Fitbit replaced it at no cost when I contacted them. Now the replacement has also died at around the 12 month mark. Being a warranty replacement this one won't be covered by warrenty. Seems like a poor quality product to me despite the rommunity recognision the brand has. Would look at an alternative brand next time. Seems the support community has no solutions to kick start a dud device?
