Alta screen went blank

I have had a couple of fitbits and my Flex 2 was amazing but I now have an alta and there just seems to be issue after issue. I have now purchased 3 chargers 2 of which are Original Forbid chargers. And not cheap and the issue persists. After charging the alta I had it on my wrist for about 18 hours abd then the screen would not illuminate I just assumed the battery was dead. But when I plugged the charger in it was registering 85% and when I disconnected the charger the screen went blank again I had a look on the threads and seen alot about chargers so I tried to reset. But nothing I bought a new charger but this one had no button as it was aftermarket. I then bought a brand new fitbit one. At a cost of £16.96 and still nothing. Something must be able to be done.

@JBSupra  how old is your Alta? Sometimes they do start to die. The original charger restart button - try using it several times and see if that helps. 

 

@kinvon  more than likely, this won't be replaced by Fitbit as the warranty would have expired by now. The Alta series was replaced by two other styles a few years back.
