Alta suddenly stopped working

I never had any issues with my alta before but this week I just can't get it to work.

I charged it this weekend, but on Monday I woke up to find it completely off. Connected it to my computer and it started up (95% full) and worked fine for the rest of the day. Tuesday the same thing happened: off when I woke up, connected it to the computer and it worked again.. until that evening when it would die on me again. That night I went to bed.. found it dead. Connected, removed it and immediately it would die on me again.

 

I have browsed some on this community in hopes of finding an answer and found out how to restart it.. Followed the steps and managed to get that done... except it helps nothing. So now my arm is naked.

 

Does anyone have other suggestions what I can do or what the problem could be?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting your Alta prior to posting, seems odd that your device is behaving in such way. Let me share with you that I've contacted our Support team on your behalf for them to provide you with further assistance to get you back on track. If this is what people consider 'delayed' I am very impressed with the way the community is handled here 🙂 I just got a message from the support team and luckily was able to let them know that in the last 36 hours I have not had a problem with my Alta.

 

I have charged my fitbit completely and then performed another reset. This time that stuck and the fitbit has been ever working since.

Sadly this morning the problem has returned. I have written custumor support about this and will try to keep this thread up to date with any answers I find.

Hi I bought one of these off My friend on Wednesday and mine is doing the same I have even try  linking to my husband phone !
